Welcome to the Cedar Brook School Website. We are so glad that you've visited us. Located on 20 acres in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, we provide a Christ-centered, rigorous academic program for children from preschool through 10th grade. We utilize state of the art instruction tools, by teachers trained to use the most up to date techniques, to ensure our students outperform their peers in secular schools. Sending your children to a Christian school never means you have to compromise on your child's educational goals.

What makes us radically different from secular schools is our holistic approach to education. A godless education is like sitting on a two-legged stool. Salvation is our mission and helping children see the wonders of God's creation in math, science and reading creates a bond between God and student that will last through eternity. Passion for teaching, love for children, a mandate for leading others to salvation: Cedar Brook School wishes to partner with you to help your child take their rightful place in society but never lose sight of their heavenly home. May God bless you and keep you.

Our Philosophy .

Foundation.

Our philosophy of education is Christ-centered. We believe that God is the Creator and Sustainer of the entire universe. We believe that, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, God’s character and purposes can be understood as revealed in the Bible, in Jesus Christ, and in nature. We believe that the distinctive characteristics of Adventist Education derived from the Bible and writings of Ellen G. White – point to the redemptive aim of true education; to restore human beings into the image of their Maker.

History

God’s Ideal.

We believe that God is infinitely loving, wise, and powerful.  He relates to human beings on a personal level, presenting His character as the ultimate norm for human conduct and His grace as the means of restoration. We recognize, however, that human motives, thinking, and behavior have fallen short of God’s ideal.  Education in its broadest sense is a means of restoring human beings to their original relationship with God.  Working together, homes, schools, and churches cooperate with divine agencies in preparing learners for responsible citizenship in this world and in the world to come.

History

Adventist Education.

We believe that Adventist education imparts more than academic knowledge.  It seeks to develop a life of faith in God and respect for the dignity of all human beings; to build character akin to that of the creator; to nurture thinkers rather than mere reflectors of others’ thoughts; to promote loving service rather than selfish ambition; to ensure maximum development of each individual’s potential; and to embrace all that is true, good, and beautiful. We promote a balanced lifestyle that encourages healthy eating habits, interpersonal relations, and athletic competition.

History

High Standards.

We believe in providing and maintaining a sage, drug-free, respectful, disciplined, nurturing and encouraging environment; We believe in encouraging every student to meet his or her fullest individual potential, reaching beyond what he or she thought possible; We believe in upholding high standards for academics, providing a challenging and enriched curriculum that is built on a foundation of core knowledge using up-to-date technology; We believe in giving the highest level of attention and service to each member of our school family; We believe in conducting all our business and employment practices using fair and ethical standards; We believe in maintaining high standards for our facilities, keeping them clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing to the community; We believe in encouraging an on-going inclusive relationship with our Alumni and former parents, guardians and sponsors, which are recognized for their valuable contributions.
